WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I’m currently working out of a salon - 'The Pink Boutique’ - in Miami, Gold Coast. The address is Lot 312/ 11 sunshine parade, Miami. The salon is directly across from 14 Sunshine Parade and you will see an A frame sign for ‘The Pink Boutique’ up a set of stairs. I am available for in-studio appointments by appointment only. For weddings and group bookings I can travel to you, and generally travel anywhere Brisbane to Byron Bay. Still get in touch though if you have a destination wedding/event.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?

•  For mobile services there may be travel fees for locations outside of the Gold Coast
•  There may be an early fee for very early bookings
•  Bookings on public holidays may incur a surcharge

IS THE BOOKING FEE REFUNDABLE?

For bridal/group bookings I require a $300 booking fee, which is deducted from the final balance. Unfortunately the booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a booking fee has been paid I have committed to your booking, and turn away all other bookings.

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT OR GROUP BOOKING?

A minimum of 24 hours notice for all in-studio appointment cancellations or changes is required. Failure to give more than 24 hours notice for an appointment change will result in a $50 cancellation fee being charged.

Wedding cancellations require a minimum of 60 days notice. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where the booking and/or wedding is amended due to personal relationship breakdowns, financial, family situations and unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to: health pandemics, changes to regulations, health warnings, weather events, travel limitations, venue closures.

Cancellation of any booking by you must be communicated in writing, by email and will only be confirmed upon receipt of this. The complete booking fee will be retained by Sarah Kelly Co regardless of notice or reason given, due to administration and loss of other bookings caused by allocating your booking.

Cancellations within 60 days of the group booking/wedding will be charged the full costs of the booking. All booking fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?

For bridal and group bookings, payment is due 14 days prior to the wedding or event. For all other in-salon services payment is due on the day.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DECIDE TO RESCHEDULE MY WEDDING DUE TO COVID 19?

Enforced cancellations due to local government regulations/lockdowns will be refunded their full amount minus the booking fee if I’m not available for the future wedding date. If I’m available for the future wedding date the booking fee will be credited to a future date.

If you decide to reschedule your wedding (and it hasn’t been enforced by local government regulations/lockdowns) then the 60 day cancellation policy applies. Cancellations within 60 days of the group booking/wedding will be charged the full costs of the booking.

All booking fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. The booking fee covers administration costs and loss of other bookings once I’m committed to yours.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY SERVICES?

Bank transfer, eftpos or cash

WHAT'S INVOLVED IN A TRIAL?

Brides are encouraged to have a trial before their wedding to work out what will be done on the day, so the atmosphere on the wedding day is relaxed and seamless. Trials take place at my studio in Burleigh Heads. Due to weekend wedding bookings trials are strictly done midweek.

If you do not require a trial, that is absolutely fine, and you can rest assured that you are in good hands in any case. It's helpful for you to send through inspiration images of what you might like to do on the day.

WHEN TO HAVE A TRIAL

A trial is recommended 2-4 months before the wedding, however, if you prefer to have a trial before paying the booking fee to secure your booking, than that is perfectly ok as well. Please note: wedding dates will not be held until the booking fee has been paid. Regardless of whether you choose to have a trial prior to paying the booking fee.

HOW SHOULD I PREP MY SKIN BEFORE MY TRIAL AND WEDDING DAY?

I highly recommend using a hydrating mask the night before or morning of the wedding. It’s always a good idea to do a practice run a few weeks before your trial or event date to ensure there is no reaction with the sheet mask. On the day of the trial/wedding please be ready for makeup with a cleansed face and moisturiser applied.

HOW SHOULD I PREP MY HAIR BEFORE MY TRIAL AND WEDDING DAY?

FOR STYLING

  • Please wash and blow dry hair smooth the night before. (Depending on your hair type. If you feel your hair works better a few days old please do so. Please no oily hair!)

  • Complete 2 cleansing shampoos and conditioner to mid lengths and ends only. Rinse really well. .

  • PLEASE DO NOT STRAIGHT IRON (unless your hair is very frizzy, and you normally prep like this before curling your own hair).

FOR BLOWDRYS

  • Complete 2 cleansing shampoos and condition midlengths to ends only the night before or morning of.
